Meet The Team

Darren

Darren Lawson

Managing Director
Darren is a local family man with two much-loved sons and a miniature sausage dog, called Toby, that he cares for. He lives locally in Plymouth, but spent his childhood years in Mid-Cornwall, moving to Plymouth when he was just 17. He started his career in property in 1988, and now boasts over 36 years in the business. He is proud to have started as the “office tea boy” (he sometimes Questions whether he still is one?!) at GA Property Services in St Austell and is now our managing director. He thinks that it’s invaluable to be able to empathise with those “starting out”. Darren became a valuer in the 1992 and a branch manager in 1996. He’s intensely passionate about selling property (as anyone who’s suffered sharing a pint with him would tell you!). Darren is a larger-than-life character who loves most sports, being a particular fan of football, rugby and cricket and is an enthusiastic, albeit hopeless golfer and an eager skier. He’s a fighter who has battled back from a horrific skiing accident that left him brain damaged and in a coma in 2014. Darren loves spending quality time with his beloved fiancé and countryside walks with his boys and Toby.
