Now is the time to make that move

Now the clocks have sprung forward, it’s time for Lawson Estate Agents to spring into action.

British Summertime not only means longer days, it’s also time for Team Lawson to put it some longer hours for the benefit of those clients who always have one eye on the clock.

It’s all part of the Plymouth estate agent’s commitment to offering the best possible customer service, ensuring the company always lives up to its motto, ‘Estate agency…Only Better’.

Managing Director Darren Lawson said that both the company’s Plymouth City and Plymouth North offices would now be open for an extra hour until 6pm from Monday to Friday.

“We already offer our customers seven day a week opening and with the lighter evenings, we want to be as flexible as we can by offering more time for viewings in the week,” said Darren.

“People have busy lives and it’s not always possible to find the time to go house hunting after a long day at work. Hopefully we can help by extending our opening hours further in the week.”

The extended opening hours are also designed help meet the expected demand from buyers and sellers alike, as Spring is a traditionally busy time for the property market.

And Darren is pretty confident that not even the dreaded ‘Brex Factor’ will dampen enthusiasm for a seasonal boost to the Plymouth marketplace.

“Plymothians are built of much sterner stuff, in my view and I think with Spring in the air, there will be an appetite for those who want to move, to get moving regardless,” said Darren.

“As I have said before, the vagaries of the market don’t have the same impact in this part of the world and I anticipate that now, and in the coming summer months, there will be a lot to be positive about.”

Darren pointed out that with longer days, there’s more time for property viewings and as Spring begins to add plenty of colour to gardens, homes can look their very best – increasing their ‘wow factor’ to buyers.

He also urged sellers to take the opportunity of some dry weather to make sure everything in the garden is rosy and carry out any externa/internal makeovers required to bring their property right up to scratch.
